Azure Redis not reachable from azure container instance

I have provisioned a Azure redis instance and i am trying to connect to it from an azure container instance. I hav enabled non TLS port(6379) and trying to telnet to that port. However, the connection is not getting established
I tried both telnet and redis cli to connect but no luck. Am i missing something?

Hi @Saurabh Sharma ,

There is no error. Telnet is timing out because network connectivity to redis instance is not there. Same with redis cli as well. I picked up the redis hostname from the properties page and port number is 6379

bash-5.0# telnet <myredisinstance>.redis.cache.windows.net 6379
bash-5.0#

@mridh Can you please check the document to make sure all required ports are open. Also, try checking if NSG is blocking any IPs.
