How to delete a resource group with Azure Site Recovery locks on it?

I have already deleted the resources that were replicated with ASR, now I need to delete the replicated resources. When I try to delete the resource group I can't because there is a lock which I cannot remove. The documentation is incomplete and says to go to "Protected Site" but of course there is no such tab.

edit: it looks like someone edited my post via API and in doing so replaced my apostrophes and quotation marks with &#34-style markup. I have edited to fix their changes.

I think you are trying to disable protection and must have followed this guide - https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/site-recovery-manage-registration-and-protection

For not being able to delete a resource group, could be because there is read-only lock or cannot-delete lock tagged to the resource group in question. You may delete the lock by following the instructions from this link - https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/lock-resources#who-can-create-or-delete-locks
