hi,

I am trying to create a News / Announcement section in the SharePoint modern site. I notice there this feature NEW that can be use for the main page for auto updating of the new and announcement but it will create a new page everything when I create a new News.

is there any way to have NEWs section that can I can only update from one (A) page and not have to create so many pages.. will it be possible to have only (A) page that will auto update into the main site News section when there an new item?

or is there anyway , that the New page can auto update into the main page every time new items is added? thanks.

    The out of the box News webpart will always create new site pages, one per news post -- there is no alternative for this webpart. You would need to look into developing your own solution that parsed a single page to distinguish "new" News.

    It is by default that SharePoint would create a new page in the site pages library when we create a new News. The News is a content type in the page library, create a new news equals create a new page.

    As a workaround, maybe you could use Announcements list to store your news. Then add the list web part in the main page. You could refer to this article :
