Hi All,

My Azure Backup Server had been encrypted by ransomware.
This server backup several Hyper-V VMs on local disk pool and 1 vm backup to Azure Cloude.
I reinstall this server and MABS today.
This MABS disk pool seems like are not affected by ransomware.
So, I Try to add the disk pool to MABS. But MABS shows this message:

ERROR 350
Disk <NTDiskNumber> is already in the storage pool.

How can I resolve this problem?
It's possible recover VM from backup?

PS: Sorry for my poor English.

    Hi,

Do you have any backup available of the Microsoft Azure Backup Server's database? Without a database it will be difficult to restore anything locally.

For the backups stored in the Recovery Services Vault within Azure, you should be able to gain access to them by registering your re-installed MABS server to your existing Recovery Services Vault and then use you need to use the same passphrase that was used when backing up the workloads to Azure.

    Best regards,
    Leon
