MECM Current Branch Upgrade

Hi,

Please let me know what are the things to do before starting the MECM to current branch.

  1. Like backup the SQL database, and other things.
  2. Does Package Distribution to be stopped for the content distribution in the state "In Progress" and "Failed'
  3. What are the other things to do after Current branch upgrade completed.
  4. Example 1 CAS, 2 Primary, 150 Distribution Points are there exits.

    Hi @Boopathi S ,

    We could follow the article jason provide, upgrade to current branch step by step.

    There are some suggestions about sccm upgrade.

    Does Package Distribution to be stopped for the content distribution in the state "In Progress" and "Failed'

    It is better not to distribute the package when we upgrade the SCCM in order to avoid the issue. The package deployment will fail when upgrade SCCM.

    What are the other things to do after Current branch upgrade completed.

    Just check if the functions of sccm is normal. we could click the tab of 'About Configuration Manager' to check if the version is correct.
