unable to send emails from mac

Hi
I am unable to send or receive emails on my mac and my outlook folder for my default email is not showing inbox or sent box. I have tried many times to reload the account but it still isn't working.

    Before going further, is this a problem that has only recently occurred? If so, what specific operations did you do before this problem occurred?
    What's the type of your account? POP, IMAP or Exchange?

    Does this issue only occur to this specific email account? It is suggested to add other email accounts to your Outlook and see if the issue could be reproduced.

    Also, to confirm if the issue is related to your Outlook for Mac client, please try to log in to your web mail and see if you can successfully send or receive emails.
