Hello @Krishna Kumar Reddy Nandyala ,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

This feature (Account failover process) is not yet supported in accounts that have a hierarchical namespace (Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2).

Failover for storage accounts with hierarchical namespace enabled (Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 storage accounts) is not supported at this time.

This feature is only available for Azure Storage account.

For more details, refer to Disaster recovery and storage account failover.

I would suggest you to vote up an idea submitted by another Azure customer.

    Hi,

I have the same issue, where there is a DR requirement to perform a planned failover of a Data Lake Storage account, which has hierarchical namespace enabled.

How else might this be achieved?

    Regards.
