I received this Email although I don't have any VMs. I do have Cloud Services.
Do I need to take any action or was this email sent in error?

The only VM we have in our subscription that uses anything like an A series has a size defined in the portal as:
Standard A2 v2 (2 vcpus, 4 GiB memory)
I think this is already an Av2-series size?

I got this notification but I'm not sure which tenant it applies to, and a quick scan of my tenants didn't find any AV1 VM's.
The email notification did include a subscription ID. How do I convert a subscription ID to a tenant ID so I can figure out which tenant to login to in order to investigate further?

The only VMs I have are B2ms. They certainly aren't A series and I don't see the word "Basic" in their descriptions, yet the email says "You're receiving this email because you use Basic or Standard A-series virtual machines (VMs)." What's the deal?

I received this email, but when I went to check there is no series listed on my VMs, and I can't seem to find a straight answer as to how to check which series our VM is using. So how do we verify this?

I think this alert is misleading people due to its wording. If I'm not mistaken, any vm can be set to Basic or Standard when deploying one, regardless of class. I'm reading this to apply only to any A1 series VMs, whether they are Basic or Standard.
With that said I have no A1 series VMs that I can find anywhere in my environments but the alert clearly states that I do.
Per one of the answer comments below, it appears this went to all customers. MS needs to re-word these notices if it's going to send to all customers and say "if you use", not "you use".

Hello,
The thing is the announcement, nor the page @ https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/blob/main/articles/virtual-machines/av1-series-retirement.md , give any instruction on how to identify such VMs.
Moreover, it appears (cf. messages from others) that subscription containing no such VMs were targeted in the campaign. On our side, we only have those sizes
And it doesn't seem to match the "Basic and Standard A-series VMs" from the email, even though, the email states "You're receiving this email because you use Basic or Standard A-series virtual machines (VMs)."
