How to make web parts use the whole horisontal space available on a SharePoint page?

I started playing with Microsoft Lists today.
Is there a simple answer to the following: If I want to create a page where I add the list as a web-part, but for some reason I can't use the whole page:

When I insert the list as a webpart, a lot of space is wasted to the right:

Of course, viewing the list as a well.. list... solves it but how to make the list as a web part use the whole space? Actually any web part for that matter would be great if it could use the whole space available when using a one column layout.

    What site templates do you use?

    Currently, this is exclusively available for Communication Site template.

    Modern pages in communication sites offer an additional section layout named Full-width column. This layout spans the full width of the page without any horizontal margin or padding.

    Other site templates do not have this feature for the time being, it seems to be a by-design behavior.
