Visio Inserted Picture look blurry

I have an issue with Visio displaying high-resolution images correctly. A perfectly crisp blueprint drawing that is 300 dpi of any resolution looks blurry once inserted in Visio and zoomed into see detail. I have tried multiple image formats and no, I am not zooming in to far. I can zoom the same amount in paint.net and it looks perfect. I have sent actual side by side images showing the difference from the original and Visio to technical support and they sent me to this forum...

I am beginning to wonder if Visio doesn't support anything above 200 dpi but can't find that documented anywhere. If anyone has a solution to this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Brian Weatherford ,
What kind of image file format did you insert to Visio?
I suggest you select the picture you insert and under Picture Format tab select Adjust and try to select the Compression options and check the result:

Any updates please let me know and I'm glad to help you.
