Question asked by Jatin Sood (reposted from [here][1]

The EULA for Microsoft Azure Storage explorer states "You may use the software on your devices to develop and test your applications. The uses permitted include use of the software in demonstrating your applications."

Does this mean that the software cannot be installed on Desktop/Laptop (used for general Office work)?

If it can be installed on Desktop/Laptop will it require additional licensing??

Thank you.

You do not need any additional license to install on your own Desktop/Laptop. Whether it is for development or general office work does not matter. The only thing that the user cannot do is pre-install/bundle Storage Explorer within their application/device for resale.

Download page clearly states that it's a free tool, so download, install and get started with it. I am using this tool in my laptop and didn't need any additional license for it.
