Microsoft office home & business can't installed to my new computer

The Staples store (3909 University Ave NW, Calgary, AB T3B 6K3, Canada) needs Microsoft company's approval and confirmation to refund the cost of 'Microsoft office home & business' to me since

their new computer which was sold to us had a defect and the computer should be refunded along with 'Microsoft office home & business'.

Please contact and instruct them to refund the 'Microsoft office home & business' IMMEDIATELY.

    Was it a Surface computer?

    Did you buy office separately and install and activate it? You will be able to move it to a new computer.
