As of 31/10/25 now when I post in a channel and attach a file, the file appears for me, but doesnt appear for others in the channel using the desktop teams app. If they are using the web app then it does appear.

How can I make the atatchments appear. I've tried all the clearing cache, uninstall/reinstall, etc options
Is this a Microsoft bug?

    Dear @RussellGarner-9076

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you please check with other users and ask them to test on different devices (other laptops/desktops) to see if the error is occurring there as well, or if the attachment displays normally?

Currently, based on your description (attachments display normally on the Teams Web but not on the Teams App for other users), the issue lies with their Teams application, not with your Teams application or your account (since the web version works for them).

I would like to inform you that I am aware of an ongoing issue affecting access to some Microsoft 365 services and portals, which includes Teams.

    Issue ID: MO1176905

    Status: Service degradation

As a moderator, I do not have the ability to have a deep understanding of the technical processes of Microsoft product teams. However, I am constantly monitoring the service status page for the latest updates and will gather information on the number of affected users.

In the meantime, please try accessing the Teams app frequently and refreshing continuously. You can also use the Teams Web as a temporary workaround while you wait. Microsoft will fix this issue soon.

I sincerely hope for your understanding and patience in this situation. If there are any developments or troubleshooting instructions from Microsoft, I will check back immediately and let you know right away.

Also, please accept this answer so that others can quickly confirm that this issue is known and that Microsoft is working on it.

    Looking forward to your response!
