Thank you for your message regarding the issue with Microsoft Visio LTSC Professional 2024. The error message “Microsoft Visio LTSC Professional 2024 preview has expired” indicates that the version of Visio installed was a preview (trial) edition. These preview versions are typically released by Microsoft for testing and evaluation purposes, often used by IT professionals or organizations to assess new features before official release. They are time-limited and will expire unless replaced with a licensed version.
Since you're currently using a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, Visio LTSC is not included in your plan. To continue using Visio, you have a few options:
1.Uninstall the trial version:
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Locate Microsoft Visio LTSC Professional 2024 Preview.
- Click Uninstall and follow the prompts.
2.Purchase a licensed version of Visio:
Since you are on Microsoft 365 personal, you do not have access to Visio LTSC. So, you can either:
- Buy Visio as a standalone product (Visio Standard or Professional 2021/2024). References:

- Or upgrade to Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise, which may include Visio depending on the plan. There is a web-based version of Visio is available for free to Microsoft 365 business subscribers (Please note that this version of Visio is designed for working on basic diagrams. It doesn't have all the features of the Visio desktop app, so more complex types of diagrams such as engineering diagrams and software development plans are not supported either for viewing or editing).
