Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

    • What is the manufacturer and model of your computer?

If you prefer, you can share a screenshot of your system information.

Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    • If you have a dedicated/discrete graphics card, please also provide its manufacturer and model.

    I await your reply.

Based on your desktop specifications, it includes one HDMI 1.4 port and one VGA port.

    Yes correct.

I'm not sure what lead is doing what. I have one of these that I thought I could attach to the hard drive and to the second monitor without having to detach anything from the current monitor working and sit in hope it works, but it didn't. Something similar to picture is what I am currently using for the working monitor. Not sure what to attach to second monitor to get it working.

A tech guy at Harvey Norman looked at photos I had of both monitors ports on back and said my hard drive may not have a system large enough for second monitor. Does this info help at all??
