    Hi Evan Mellam,

Thanks for reaching out. If your IPv4 shows “No Internet Access” but IPv6 is connected, and this started after a power outage, here are a few steps you can try:

First, restart your modem and router. A full power cycle often resolves issues caused by sudden outages.

Second, run the built-in troubleshooter. Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, right-click your Ethernet connection, and select Diagnose.

Third, reset your network settings using Command Prompt (run as administrator):

    netsh int ip reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

Next, check your Ethernet adapter in Device Manager. Right-click it, then try updating the driver or uninstalling and restarting your PC to reinstall it.

Lastly, log into your router and check if DHCP is enabled and properly assigning IPv4 addresses. Sometimes, after a power outage, router settings can revert or misconfigure.

Are you seeing any error messages or yellow warning icons in your network settings? If so, could you share them here? That would help narrow things down.

If this helps, feel free to mark the answer as accepted so others can find it too.

    Best,
    Carl
