Dear Crystal Morrison
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum!
I understand this Education login pop-up is preventing you from accessing your personal OneDrive and account. The issue is likely caused by the Education account being linked both at the Windows level and within your installed Microsoft applications.
In the meantime, please consider trying my suggestions and keep me updated with anything news from it:
- Go to Settings (Win + I) > Accounts > Access work or school > Find the Education account > click Disconnect or Remove.
- Search for "Credential Manager" in the Start menu > open it > go to the Windows Credentials tab > remove any entries related to your school account, OneDrive, or Microsoft Office (e.g., anything with your school email) > Restart and try signing into OneDrive.
- Right-click the OneDrive icon in your system tray (or search for it), select Settings > Account > Unlink this PC > Relaunch OneDrive > Sign in with your personal Microsoft account.
Disclaimer: Back up any important files in OneDrive or locally before changes (OneDrive's recycle bin holds deleted items for 30 days). If your device is managed by your school (e.g., via IT policies), these steps might need admin approval—reach out to their support first to avoid access issues. If you cannot find the Disconnect button in Step 1, it may be controlled by your school's IT policy, and you might need to contact them for assistance.
