Can I ask if your family member is signing in with a personal Microsoft account (like Outlook.com or Hotmail.com) when opening the invitation? The sharing link only works if they’re signed in with a personal Microsoft account, work or school accounts won’t be accepted.
If they are using a personal account, try these steps:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 Family sharing page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Under your subscription, select Sharing > Manage sharing.
- Remove the pending invite and send it again.
- Have your family member open the link in a private/incognito browser window and sign in with their Microsoft account before accepting.
If it still loops after that, it could be a browser cache issue, clearing cookies or using a different browser usually helps.
