Hi,
Thanks for the clear explanation. It sounds like your computer isn’t picking up your Logitech camera’s microphone, and instead, only your Echo Show is working , though it doesn’t even appear in your sound settings, which makes things a bit tricky.
Let’s try a few things. First, check your sound settings by right-clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar and looking under the “Recording” tab. If your Logitech mic shows up, make sure it’s enabled and set as the default. You should also check Device Manager to see if the camera and mic are listed , if not, try updating or reinstalling the drivers.
It’s also important to review your privacy settings under Settings > Privacy > Microphone to make sure apps like Chrome and Messenger have permission to use your mic. In Chrome, go to and confirm the correct mic is selected. chrome://settings/content/microphone
As for the Echo Show, it might be connected via Bluetooth or Alexa, but it won’t work as a standard mic for your PC apps. Try disconnecting it temporarily to see if your Logitech mic becomes active again.
Even without a sound card, your USB camera mic should still work , unless Windows isn’t detecting any input devices at all.
Let me know how it goes or if you’d like help walking through any of these steps.
Best,
Edward
