Unregistering Azure stack dk

I am trying to unregister Azure stack dk so I can have latest version and i keep getting the following error

"the registration resource found does not correlate the current environment's cloud id"

    You should not need to unregister / deregister the ASDK when installing a new version. The Registration for the ASDK is just what Subscription it is tied to. If you do want to fully un-register, Here is the command.
