Is there a 64 bit SSMS?

I‘ve already downloaded and installed SQL Server and SSMS on my computer and then I noticed that the SSMS running on my computer is a 32-bit program. I wonder if there a 64-bit SSMS, for I didn't find it anawhere, including the MicroSoft offical webpage.

    No, there is a not a 64-bit SSMS, because as Olaf says the underlying shell is 32-bit, because the Visual Studio folks has for many years refused to make VS 64-bit. But, about 20 years later than everyone else, the next version of Visual Studio will be available in 64-bit! So maybe there will also be a 64-bit SSMS in the future.

    No, there is no 64 bit SSMS available.
    SSMS is a plugin for Visual Studio and VS comes only as 32 bit app.
    Same for SSDT = SQL Server Data Tools.

    This is intentionally designed to drive data people crazy when importing excel files that have 64bit office installed & SSMS installed and discover they can't import Excel via SSMS unless they uninstall their 64bit Office and reinstall a 32bit Office version. To drive them more crazy, SSIS (VS2022) doesn't support 32bit version of the Access driver, so you have to go back to a 64bit version of it (and also have a 64bit version of Office installed). Lesson: Use SSIS on a machine with 64bit office and 64bit Access engine. Use SSMS on a machine with 32bit office and 32bit Access engine.
    Since, for some incredibly silly reason, you can't have both a 32bit and a 64bit Access engine on your machine simultaneously, it's clear the intent is to drive us crazy!

    Quoted from the docs:

    SSMS is available only as a 32-bit application for Windows. If you need a tool that runs on operating systems other than Windows, we recommend Azure Data Studio. Azure Data Studio is a cross-platform tool that runs on macOS, Linux, as well as Windows.
