I am migrating from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016. All has went well. When I try to decommission the Exchnage 2010 I can not remove the databases. It errors out that there is an export job associated. I found the job but i can not cancel it. I have tried everything. Is there a way to force quit an export?

    So this doesn't work?

    Get-MailboxExportRequest | Remove-MailboxExportRequest

    If not, then use adsiedit.msc

Change to the well-known naming context "Configuration"
Then open the tree > Services> Microsoft Exchange > Your Org Name > Mailbox Replication > Mailbox Export Requests

Delete any entry under there. DO NOT delete the "Mailbox Export Requests" folder, just any requests listed under that folder. Be careful! Delete only the export requests, not any parent container.

When you get to the Mailbox Replication Container, you will see a list of sub containers, then expand "Mailbox Export Requests"

If you don't see then post the exact error messages you are seeing.

Agree with Andy, it’s suggested to try using the command Remove-MailboxExportRequest first.
If you run into problem, it may be resulted from the user and mailbox no longer existing in Active Directory.
And in this case, you can use the ADSIEdit to delete the request.
