How can I delete one user from my shared OneNote?

I've shared my OneNote with colleagues using Send Link.
Now I want to stop sharing this with 1 colleague, the other colleagues are still allowed to join.

When you look at the sharing link, you can see who you have shared the OneNote with, but I do not have the option to select 1 colleague and click Delete. That button is grayed out.
How can I now disable sharing this link for 1 colleague?

    Hi @Y. Janssen ,
    Welcome to Q&A forum!

Are you using the OneNote app or OneNote for Windows 10?

    • If it is OneNote 2016 desktop app

How did you create the shared link? If you shared the link with anyone, you may be must to disable the sharing link and re-create a new.

For more information, please refer to: Stop sharing a notebook on OneDrive.

Besides, I suggest you can try to share the note with special users, that you can go to the shared notebook>Share>in Shared with section, right-click that user>to Remove User.

    Hi @Viki Ji_MSFT ,

Deleting the user using the Desktop app is the solution.

I made the share by opening my OneDrive and then get to my notebooks. There I select the notebook I want to share and chose to manage access.
This works well when I want to add users, but doesn't work to delete users.

Thank you very much for your answer.

    Hi @Viki Ji_MSFT

    I'm sorry VikiJi,

I thought it was solved because I see the option to remove the user.
But when I click on remove user at the shared link, nothing happens. The user stands with read access.

When testing further I now understand this happens by using a shared link.
So by using sharing with specific users the problem is solved. Then I can remove a user individually.

    Thanks.
