how to configure ports on edge transport server 2016?

Hello Team,

how to configure below ports on edge transport server 2016?
Also let me know how can we verify them once configured?

Port 25 and 2525 for SMTP Mail flow

Port 53 for DNS Resolution

Port 3389 for Remote Desktop

Port 50389 for LDAP needs to be opened locally for LDAP binding

Port 50636 for Secure LDAP to provide directory synchronization from Mailbox servers to AD LDS

    Hi,
    You don't need to configure the ports manually in edge transport server. Make sure that the ports are opened in your infrastructure (firewall or networking devices) Install the Edge role and go for a health check will do it.
    Following is an example cmdlet, verifies the synchronization status of the single recipient kate@Company portal .com after your edge server installation is done successfully.

    Test-EdgeSynchronization -VerifyRecipient kate@Company portal .com

    I quite agree with what ManuPhilip said.
    When you prepare for the Edge Subscription, you need to verify the required ports are opened. You don’t need to set the ports manually.
