Hi,

I am running MECM 2002 all hotfixes installed. I'm having an issue where all applications are failing to install with error 0x80070005(-2147024891) but packages install fine. I've removed and re-installed the MP and DP roles and re-distributed content with no success. Appenforce log: CommenceEnforcement failed with error 0x80070005 which is access denied.

I'm a bit stuck on where to look next, any ideas?

Thanks

Ps Endpoints are Windows 10 1909

    Hi,

This error code means "Access Denied". You can try to start the installation while running procmon to see exactly what is denied access. Does the client machine have third-party anti-virus software installed? I have seen 0x80070005 errors caused by anti-virus software or security programs many times.

Sharing more on how to create and deploy this application may attract more forum members to share their suggestions here.

    Best regards,
    Larry
