I am unable to register a Hyper-v host to Azure site recovery. We are not using System Center VMM to manage the hosts.

In my experience this happens often on the first try. Run the same command again and it may work.

I tried it a couple of times. but still, I am getting the same error message.
@Nigusu Gemeda Download the vault credential file and re-try the registration. Let us know the status of your issue.

Even if I change the vault credential file, the issue is not resolved.
NigusuGemeda-2369 Sorry for the painful experience. IMO, this issue warrants a support case. I recommend you reach out to Azure technical support team by raising a support request. Let me know if you have any limitations creating a support case.
