I have a notebook running windows 10 , the internet connection is work , it can be browsing to internet , however , it can not connect to our company VPN , I found that the wifi connection status shows "No Internet, secured" .
Would suggest why it shows this status , it is related to the VPN connection failure ?
Would suggest how to fix it ?
thanks

Hello,
Please run Network Adapter troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot. Let us know what it reports back.
Regards.
Are you certain that the VPN connection has failed?
Many company VPNs are configured to prevent direct internet access when the VPN connects. Usually internet access then requires using the company's proxy server via the VPN. This is a security measure to protect the company's internal network.
Please try from different network and as some companies will restrict to connect VPN using non trusted network.
In such cases, you will be able to use all activities with connected Wifi with except the VPN connection.
Also you will have VPN logs as well... where you may see some errors like -- connection rejection.
Try alternate network is my suggestion.
thanks all replies.
I tried other same model notebook , they all not same config , but these notebooks can connect to VPN , therefore , it is not the VPN server issue .
what I wonder is why it is "No Internet, secured" , while the internet works
thanks a lot
