予備のCALバージョンを利用することは可能ですか。

今回、SQL SERVER2019（Standard ）を導入を検討しておりますが、
過去にCAL(Windows Server - User CALバージョン2016)を購入しており、利用できるものでしょうか。
ご存じでしたらご回答頂けますよう宜しくお願い致します。
