Suppose in the event that there are 64 machines and their all out capacity is 31 TB, at that DISK size of ASR machine will be 31 TB? Or on the other hand it will be simply ordinary size to process ASR solution?

In reality I have select storage that is 31TB. Simply needs to clear about VM disk size?

** ASR architecture comprised of VM+Storage +ASR Instances.
Actually i am using Azure pricing calculator to estimate ASR solution.**

    Hi @Sheikh Mudasir Bari

The response will vary depending on what you are trying to protect - VMware or Hyper-V on-prem or Azure VMs in a different region?

    • Keep in mind Managed disk are priced on provisioned capacity (not the space being used)
    • The amount os Snapshots that you keep (can be configured) will also have an impact on the cost

Pricing details are documented in the FAQ available at the bottom of this page:

@Sheikh Mudasir Bari Are you saying that the total storage consumption across the 64 machines is 31TB? Is this the consumed storage or the sum of all disk sizes used across the 64 machines?

While using the pricing calculator, please select the configuration that most closely represents your setup. You might be using multiple different types and tiers of disks across the 64 machines and each would have its own price. Consolidating storage costs and picking 1 storage type might lead to incorrect estimates.

You can refer this blog post to see how the price of a sample DR setup (incl. ASR licenses) is calculated.
