Hello Expert,

I have a two part question

1.When designing a SAP Hana cluster in Azure, does the cluster set up require a "Majority Maker node" VM to be part of the cluster so that it can form a quorum (perhaps in a even number cluster) or does the SBD (STONITH Block Device) suffices as the Majority Maker Node and can also cast a Vote?

  1. When a Pacemaker cluster is set up in Azure, can Azure Monitor monitor the cluster state?

Apologies in delayed response on this.

    1. You need both the "Majority Maker node" VM and STONITH device. Please refer to this document.
    2. Yes, the Pacemaker cluster is monitored, see more details in this document.
