No tab icon on the tool bar in microsoft word

When writing a letter I type the recipient's address in the top left hand corner of the page. When complete I go to the end of the first line of the address with the cursor to insert tabs to the right of the page to enable me to type the first line of my address by clicking the tab key on my keyboard but nothing happens and there is no tab icon on my toolbar to enable me to insert tabs. I am using windows ten and Microsoft 365. How do I get the tab icon on my tool bar? Please help. Thank you. Toni Carré
