Capacity requirement for the Configuration Server ?

Hello,

We need to deploy a Configuration Server for an environment that will replicate about 15-20 VMware servers.

The Microsoft template for the Configuration Server requires about 1.3TB for the HDD whereas we only have about 800GB of free space in the datastore.

According to the documentation (https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/site-recovery-plan-capacity-vmware#size-recommendations-for-the-configuration-server-and-inbuilt-process-server) it would be enough to have a total size of 300GB

Is 1.3TB really required to replicate only about 15 servers ?
Is it supported to reduce this size by modifying the template ?

What are the other officials solutions?

Thanks
Nicolas

@Nicolas Sorry for the delay. In general this is not a linear function of number of servers. Process server requires sufficient cache disk space to accommodate initial replication of all servers along with delta replication post that. Is the churn of the 15-20 machines? As suggested in the link, please ensure sufficient space is offered as per churn patterns

Was a deployment planner run on these machines? That would give you the churn patterns.
