Does Biztalk 2016 work with SQL 2017 with compatibility mode set to 2016?

The documentation explicitly says that Biztalk 2016 requires SQL 2016 but I'd like to know if it will work with SQL 2017 with compatibility mode set to 2016 (130)? We do not use High Availability Groups with BizTalk.

    It may work, but it is an unsupported configuration, and if you ever have to raise a support call with Microsoft, they may decline to provide support.
