The invite process creates Azure AD guest accounts not B2C accounts. Althought similar they serve different purposes.
Invitation Sent and user can't sign in (B2C)
I created an SPA app to be used in B2C. The users that sign up they can sign in. But when I invite them using the portal in the AD B2C blade/Users Menu on the left. And then I click + New User and then use Invite User option.
They get an email to Accept Invitation. They click accept and proceed with where the email is sending them.
They then go to my SPA that is deployed on Azure using App Services.
They get the Sign Up/Sign In user flow.
Enters their credentials, but the login UI says it can't find the account.
I then check in Azure and I do see their Account in the User Management and it is marked as Guest with the source being External Azure Active Directory.
Now I'm wondering, what does invite user does? Does it invite the user to be part of B2C???
All users that signs up using the Sign up/Sign in user flows. They are able to sign in without any issue. But those that get the email invitation can't and I'm wondering maybe I'm not actually inviting them to be in B2C?
