Microsoft Excel Application missing in DCOMCNFG for Excel 365

Just upgraded from Excel 2016 to Excel 365 and now Microsoft Excel Application is missing in DCOMCNFG so I can't configure the security setting for my old ASP code to work. I tried editing the setting for My Computer in Component Services but that didn't work. I've searched all over the place and I've seen so many solutions, but none for Excel 365. Anybody get this working with Excel 365?

    Hi @NeilNYG ,
    Try this method:

    1. In DCOMCNFG, right click on the My Computer and select properties.
    2. Choose the COM Securities tab
    3. In Access Permissions, click "Edit Defaults" and add Network Service to it and give it "Allow local access" permission. Do the same for <Machine_name>\Users.
    4. In launch and Activation Permissions, click "Edit Defaults" and add Network Service to it and give it "Local launch" and "Local Activation" permission. Do the same for <Machine_name>\Users
