SCCM IIS Default Web site bindings problem after upgrade to 2002 version

So recently we update SCCM from 1910 to 2002. After upgrade we had problems with our IIS (default website)

Our site currently is HTTP or HTTPS.

In IIS Default website bindigs where such records

HTTPS port 443
HTTPS port 80

If i configure Windows\System32\inetsrv\Config. applicationhost.config file and remove "s" from 80 port binding i can start my IIS and everything is working fine>

But if i restart my SCCM server, after that i get the same problems with two https records in bindings.

I saw somewhere that people are saying that this problem occures if you have Site Server Backup. We have in our case. But i don't see any logic in this.

Thank you!

Yes i saw that thread, but as mentioned there.

If the SCCM server will be restarted then all changed binding will get back to the wrong. And after site server backup was initialized also binding reset to wrong with https(80)

    Hi,

The default values for client request ports are 80 for HTTP traffic and 443 for HTTPS traffic. Change them only if you do not want to use these default values. A typical scenario for using custom ports is when you use a custom website in IIS rather than the default website. If you change the default port numbers for the default website in IIS and other applications also use the default website, they are likely to fail.

    Best regards,
    Larry

Problem is that after i upgraded SCCM from 1910 to 2002 Default IIS ports HTTP 80 and HTTPS 443 changed to the HTTPS(80) HTTPS(443) and i couldn't start IIS because it's sad that port is used.

If i change IIS settings to default ports, everything is working fine.

But after SCCM server restart or site server backup task IIS default web site bindings configuration are wrong and showin HTTPS(80) ?

    Hi,

If we want to find the culprit, we can try to check the event viewer logs for more clues.
Also, the following thread describes a similar problem, and I hope this is helpful to you.
