SAP HANA APP and DB server backup solution to azure

Hi Team,

I am looking for HANA servers backup solution to azure.

We have 2 servers on on-premises location i.e. 1st HANA App VM on Vmware and 2nd its HANA DB server on physical server.
We are looking for backup solution on azure for this two servers.

can we only backup system state and folders of both above SAP HANA servers to azure file storage using azure backup and then restore it on cloud.

please can you advise suitable cost effective solution.

    Hello @@Jayesh Sawant - Appreciate your patience in this matter!

    Azure backup does offer solution for SAP HANA databases on Azure VM. However, in your scenario the actual servers are on-premise, one on VMware and the other one on Linux, which is not a supported scenario.

    Workaround:
    You can use NFS on blob, mount that point to these servers and try using SAP native tools to schedule backups.
