If you want to archive or transfer your existing version of GUIX studio after installing them from the Microsoft Store, the following steps helped me to do this:
- Start GUIX Studio application and open the Task-Manager
- In Task Manager switch to the Details tab, right click on any column header and click "Select columns". In the list activate the column "Image path name" and close.
- Search for process guix_studio.exe and see the path of the Image path name, it's something like "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.AzureRTOSGUIXStudio_6.2.0.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe\studiox\guix_studio.exe".
- Create a zip archive or copy the parent folder C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.AzureRTOSGUIXStudio_6.2.0.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe
For me it works fine- if I copy the folder/ zip archive to another computer and run the studiox\guix_studio.exe file there.
