we have SharePoint 2019 on-premises in our organization and we setup onedrive feature in the environment and the employees upload their documents on onedrive, my question , if i configured forms-based authentication in the environment for external users, will forms-based users able to access the onedrive? i mean if forms-based auth user access onedrive, SharePoint will automatically create site for FBA users?

Yes, similar to any other authentication method when they first visit the My Site root or About Me, it will create their OneDrive site.

But the User Profile is different for FBA and Windows Authentication, and also the display name will be as like the login user name and the About me will not be able to get the details from the AD. so how can we accomplish all these using the FBA.
A single user object must always use the same authentication method. If a user comes in with two different authentication methods, SharePoint will always see that as two different user objects.
I have a Sharepoint2019 On-Prem, and configured the FBA pointing to our LDAP(AD) on prem and login using UPN, and when i click on About me the mysite create a collection with the same username as email id which i Logged in, and couldnt able to retrive the information from our AD. what would be the best practice for this kind of scenario.

Agree with Trevor. Forms-based Authentication can be enabled on your My Site web application.
can any one tell me the best practice method for using the authentication for the Sharepoint2019 On-Premise, my requirement is i want the features should be like the Windows Authentication but only thing is i donot want the pop-up for the Authentication, i want the custom.aspx as like FBA. so what is the best practice to accomplish this.
