I am using SQL database which is free service for 1 year in Microsoft Azure but still I received the monthly bill. ?
The database size is only 1 GB then why they are billing? Are free services only showcase part and not the reality ? Even to get support they are giving options to select plan for support . For free services issue whom or where to contact?

    You can raise a billing support request without a support plan, just select the billing option in the support page. They should be able to tell you why you are being charged.

    Can you share the document or page which shows that Azure SQL Database is free service?

    As far as I know they charge for it, no matter how small DB size is or DTU number is. I have created both Azure SQL - single database and also serverless DB. I pay for their charges Monthly.
