Workflow 2013 is not ending in sharepoint 2016

We have SP 2016 with Workflow 2013 environment and upgraded the web applications from SP 2013 to SP 2016 using database detach and attach method.

Now the problem is all the Sharepoint 2013 workflows are showing always Started and it's not ending, even nothing happening if we end the workflow. This is applies to all newly created SPD workflows and upgraded site collection workflows as well.

Please help us to solve this problem.

Please go to the workflow history list (http://doamin/sites/sitecollection/lists/Workflow%20History/AllItems.aspx) to check the description of workflows.

And you could go to ULS logs to find more clues.
