    Hi there!

    Try disabling "Download Shared Folders"
and restart Outlook and see if that fixes it.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3115602/performance-and-synchronization-problems-when-you-work-with-folders-in

To disable the caching of all shared folders in Outlook 2010 and later versions, follow these steps:

On the File tab, click Account Settings in the Account Settings list.
In the Account Settings dialog box, click the E-mail tab and then double-click your Microsoft Exchange Server account.
In the Change Account dialog box, click More Settings.
In the Microsoft Exchange dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
Click to clear the Download shared folders check box.

    If not, try safe mode:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026478/outlook-open-outlook-in-safe-mode
    Outlook.exe /safe

that will ensure the add-ins are disabled.

Do you mean only one user have this issue when he check the Inbox of a specific shared mailbox?
Does the user check the shared mailbox with AutoMapping, or open the shared mailbox manually?

As AD-7937 mentioned above, if the user uses Outlook Cached mode, please check and unselect "Download shared folders".
Please make sure the user installs and uses the latest update for Outlook. When try to use a different machine, is the same Outlook version installed? Please also check if any differences about the Outlook version or settings between this user and others who can check the same shared mailbox successfully.
