Will there be any tech issues if I run a different Microsft 365 product to others in my office?

I have started working in an old-school law firm. I am wanting to use LEAP software (law firms). For LEAP, I need to use Microsoft 365 Business Standard. The firm has a basic Microsoft 365 subscription (not Business Standard). They do not use a server per see, but an S-Drive which is a receptacle for their documents and their old billing software (Locus). If I purchase a MO 365 Business Standard subscription (which I assume is cloud-based) would this have any effect on the computer system here? Would I be able to communicate ok with the other basic MO 365 users? Would I need any help to get this started, like outside tech help?

    hi @Jason Parker ,

I think you don't post in the right category, there is a difference between Microsoft 365 and Windows 365.
You can see Windows 365 as a Cloud PC ( So all the Windows (Operating System) are hosted in the Cloud ).

With Microsoft 365, you have differents products like Teams, Exchange Online ... Depends of the M365 type of licence.

But for a begining of response, multiple users with different m365 licence can communicate together
M365 Business Basic licence users and M365 Business standard users, can communicate, ( If all users are in the same orgamization, its more than easy).

    No problem with that.

    Hope it help
    Have a great day

    Cédric
