Do superceded updates expire, and therefore are not deployed in SCCM?

Are superseded updates in a Software Update Group (ADR generated) still deployed?

The SUG and update shows a orange icon but the deployment is active.
Do I need to delete the deployment manually as I want to deploy the latest Cumulative updates only?

Superseded Updates: A Superseded Update (or updates) is a complete replacement of a previous release, or releases。 Expired Updates: Expired Updates are just as the name suggests – Microsoft has removed the update from the list of valid updates. Superseded Updates could be deployed to client in sccm. If we are ready not to install the superseded Updates, we could make these configurations as per following picture: ![22005-921.png][1] ************************************************************************* If the response is helpful, please click "Accept Answer" and upvote it. Hi,
You control how superseded updates are expired under Software Update in the admin console under Site\Software Update Point. If they are expired immediately or not.
