We received one mail about :Allow communication with existing Azure SQL Database gateways, may I know if this is the right way to config it.

  1. open sql server
  2. In firewall and virtual network tab
  3. Add IP to the list, for example if sql server is in the region of WestUS, then add ip 104.42.238.205, 23.99.34.75 and 13.86.216.196 .

Is that the right way ?

If yes, we have one server is on North Europe, there's no ip for it. how to resolve the issue ?

There are two parts to this question. First please go through below document for checking more information about the Gateway Migration:

    Gateway Migration

You need to check if you are impacted and then make the changes as needed. Also go through this list for regional gateways. Additionally this issue was discussed in few others threads : Thread1, Thread2, Thread3

Please go through these documents for more information and get back to us if you need more guidance in this regards.

    Thanks
