Hello,
I'm trying to understand if Microsoft is planning to make these two products compatible with each other....
We are using Virtual Desktops running on FSLogix Profiles, and our users are unable to download and retain Store Apps.
Apps are lost and result in being unusable after a user logs off and back into the system.
From what I read in these website, it seems like the 2 products are not compatible:
Does anybody have an idea on how we can get the apps to work while using FSLogix Profiles?

I opened a ticket with them some time ago about it. At that time, they said that the APPX apps are not compatible at all. However, if you look at release notes, they do address this issue somewhat with version 2210 (2.9.8361.52326):

Feature: Added a new process during the sign out phase, which creates an AppX package manifest for the user. This manifest is used at sign-in to re-register the AppX applications for an improved user experience. This work is on-going as AppX packages and applications continue to evolve. The focus for this work has been on the built-in Windows apps (inbox apps).
As far as I know, there is NO other documentation about this added ability. This is pretty typical for Microsoft right? Introduce things and fail to document how they work in any way, shape, form, or fashion. Not sure if you are using the latest and greatest version or not. At my company though, we've pretty much told out users we don't support App Store apps at all in VDI so please don't ask about them, and we might change in the future once we have enough info on it.
