Unable to connect to Azure AD connect

Hi, When I open Azure AD connect and try to click on customize sync option and enter my global admin user name and password I get below error

Unable to validate credentials due to an unexpected error. Restart Azure AD Connect with the InteractiveAuth option to further diagnose this issue. () Learn more.

When I using following command C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect>AzureADConnect.exe /InteractiveAuth

I get this error

I have global admin rights in azure ad, we do have adfs server which auth users

    Hi @lalajee

    Thank you for asking this question on the **Microsoft Q&A Platform. **

    First, you must ensure that the user from your Azure AD has the correct password and that the user cannot have the MFA active.

    Also, I recommend you try a fresh installation of Azure AD Connect.

    Hi,

    I have a problem with the Azure AD Connect,When installing the AD, in particular when connecting to the AD with our 365 account

    I get the following error message. Have you encountered this problem before?

    we ran into the same issue today.
    we first ran the powershell script (as admin) https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/entra/identity/hybrid/connect/reference-connect-tls-enforcement#powershell-script-to-check-tls-12

    then we ran via powershell as admin
    c:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Active Directory Connect tabbed to the executable
    .\AzureADConnect.ext /interactiveauth

    Hope that helps? we are now waiting for it to fully sync over, but we overcame the issue you had

    I've solved the problem, it was due to TLS 1.2
