Hi All,

We are using Azure Analysis services for building cubes, 1500 level compatibility. I am trying to understanding the impersonation settings while connecting to different data sources...
For On-Prem SQL Server - We are using SQL Auth and Impersonation as Service Account - it is working fine
For On-Prem Oracle - We are using Oracle userid and password - What should be the impersonation that we need to choose. We have a Gateway setup for On-prem data sources.

When I choose to enter my credentials in Impersonation window as Windows user id and password then i was able to process the tables but i was looking for any other alternative without entering any credentials in impersonation windows, ideally i would like to set that to Services Account like the way that i am doing with On-Prem SQL Server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

    Hello @Praveen Yakkala
Thanks for the question and also for using the forum .

Since we do not have the environment to test this , but i could like you to point to the document https://www.oracle.com/a/ocom/docs/database/adw-creatingodp-net-sqlserver.pdf . I think it can be helpful .

Also we can use the unattended account for the impersonation setting, have you gone through the doc . https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/analysis-services/tabular-models/impersonation-ssas-tabular?view=asallproducts-allversions

Please do let me know how it goes .

    Thanks
