Hi,

We have an Azure Express Route Circuit with 1 connection (connected to a virtual network gateway). This connection is in Subscription-1 and it's using VNet-1 and it's in Canada East site.
Can we use the same Express Route Circuit and create another connection to Canada Central site in Subscription-2 and VNet-2 ?

From what i've seen, it's possible to do that and we need to create an new Authorization in the current Express Route Circuit and then connect the new connection using the Authorization Key...

Am i on the right track?

    Hello @cthivierge ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, You can link up to 10 virtual networks to a standard ExpressRoute circuit. All virtual networks must be in the same geopolitical region when using a standard ExpressRoute circuit. If you are using Local SKU ExpressRoute circuit this is not supported. Please refer to screenshot below for scope of access for different SKU Circuits. You can go through this FAQ for additional details.

You can refer to this documentation for implementation. The circuit owner creates an authorization, which creates an authorization key to be used by a circuit user to connect their virtual network gateways to the ExpressRoute circuit.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

    Thanks for the information.

So, the steps is to create a new Authorization in the Azure Circuit, then copy the Authorization Key and then create a new connection with a new VNG with the Authorization Key.

Is it normal that i cannot see the Authorization Key for the first connection ?
Or is it because the connection is in the same subscription as the Express Route Circuit ?

    Thanks!
