Do you need special permissions from Admin to create a "Class" in Teams?

I recently watched a YouTube video from Kevin Stratvert where he talks about creating a Class in Teams. This is perfect for what I'm trying to do, but I don't seem to have that ability. On his video he gets a pop-up window with different team types to choose from. When I create a new team, I only get the option to create a regular team. There is no option to create other types. Is this something that Admin needs to give me permissions for?

    @Leisa Herritt ,

    What is your subscription?

    The Class type for teams needs Education plans, such as Office 365 A1, A3, A5 and Microsoft 365 A3, A5.
